Meet Dr. Jacquie
The only way you'll enjoy seeing a dentist
Is if you trust your dentist.
That's why,
I want you to know me.
Where I'm from.
Why I practice.
My Values .
And yes,
That I'm capable too
About Me
Born into a low-income working class family of five from small-town Indiana, my dad was a Chicago union iron worker who taught me to use my hands
I was the first in my family to attend college and first to become both an Engineer and Doctor
Growing up as child, I loved art. My love for painting, making jewelry, wood carving and ceramics grew into my surgical and cosmetic hand skills I use as a dentist
I'm a roll-up-my sleeves, get-it-done type of person. That's why you'll find me in my small farmhouse, driving the tractor, running fence and rocking out to music with my three dogs, two birds, two ducks and two tortoises.
My love for animals is why we're Tacoma's dog friendly dentist
Growing up in a low-income family, I believe every tooth matters, every smile matters and every person deserves honest medical care. I don't believe in debt or pushing unneeded care because I understand what it's like to live pay-check to pay-check.
Because of that, I've poured my heart and soul into building my dental practice, Floss & Fido, from the ground up, quite literally. I've built the place myself. I've painted every wall, installed every dental chair and ran all the hose lines myself. Because if something is worth doing, then it's worth doing well.
Professional
In addition to my hands skills from decades of art classes, I hold a unique combination of training that many general dentists do not have. I have an associates degree in engineering and math, a bachelors degree in neurobiology and doctor of dental surgery. I'm always learning new techniques and approaches though continuing education.
