Individualized
Dentistry for High Anxiety and Sensory

I know that for many, dental appointments bring anxiety, especially for those with sensory sensitivities or who are neurodivergent. We offer a calming atmosphere with soft music, puzzles, and even pets to create a peaceful environment.

Maybe you need the lights off, noised reduced, us to speak softer or use a different instrument. We'll try and accommodate. We also provide "unofficial visits" to build familiarity without pressure.

My team and I are dedicated to tailoring care with compassion and understanding.

Individualized
Dental Visits

At Floss & Fido Dentistry we understand that for many, dental appointments can be a source of significant stress, often due to traumatic past experiences.

That’s why we've reimagined the dental visit, creating a welcoming haven that prioritizes the happiness and comfort of our patients over everything else. Here's a look at how we're changing the narrative around dental care through innovative anxiety management techniques.

  • Warm and Comforting Atmosphere: They provide a welcoming environment that contrasts with traditional clinical settings.

  • Music as a Calming Agent: Soft melodies are played to help patients relax and find peace during their appointments.

  • Art and Puzzles for Distraction: Engaging artwork and puzzles are available to divert attention from dental procedures and reduce anxiety.

  • Pet-Friendly Environment: The presence of pets in the office serves as a comforting distraction.

  • Biophilic Design: Incorporation of natural elements in the clinic’s design brings the calming essence of the outdoors inside.

  • Color and Light: The use of tranquil colors and natural light creates a serene atmosphere that eases patient anxiety.

  • Soft Textures: Gentle textures are used throughout the clinic to enhance physical comfort.

  • ‘Unofficial Visits’: The clinic encourages non-treatment visits to build familiarity and trust without the pressure of an appointment.
